Charles Alvarez graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering.  While at Texas Tech, Charles held several leadership positions such as Secretary and Vice-President of Chi Psi Fraternity, Secretary of the local American Society of Civil Engineers, and several positions at Chi Epsilon (a honorary Engineering Fraternity).

After graduating, Charles worked for 6 years as a Management Consultant for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).  During his time at Andersen, Charles working with Fortune 500 energy companies such as Dynegy, Torch Energy, Shell, El Paso, Western Gas Resources, and Chesapeake on implementing business process changes in order to allow his clients to grow and expand well beyond what his clients thought possible.  Charles lead several multi-million dollar project teams in delivering solutions that made his client’s business run smoother and scale the business exponentially so that the business could reach its financial objectives.

After a successful 6 years as a management consultant, Charles starting his own financial consulting practice through Smith Barney and UBS.  Charles was able to grow a business from no clients and no revenue to a thriving business that generated over $1 million per year in revenue in 8 years.  Charles brought a consultative and educational approach to his financial services business in order to help his clients reach their financial goals.

After 9 successful years, Charles turned his attention back to his first love – business consulting.  However, instead of helping large businesses grow, Charles turned his passion into his business by becoming a Certified Small Business Coach through Focal Point International.  Charles works with business owners to deliver the freedom and joy they dreamt about when they first got into business.  Using the same consultative and educational approach that brought him success throughout his career, Charles is able to deliver value and expertise using his own experience as well as the organization that supports him on a daily basis.  Charles uses his management consulting experience and business development experience to “franchise” his client’s business by implementing marketing, sales, and productivity strategies and tactics so that his clients can obtain the lifestyle and freedom his clients have always dreamt about.
